| Design name | [69681] Striped onion |
|---|---|
| Design infomation | An all-over vegable pattern in which one onion motif is repeated in a constant size, and the positions of each row are crossed. There is a generous margin between the motifs, so each onion's shape is clearly visible, and the curved stripe inside repeats to create a natural visual rhythm even within a simple arrangement. In particular, the contrast between the round bulb shape and the long flowing vertical line is key to this design. Rather than expressing the material of vegetables cutely or realistically, it is geometric and minimal, so it can be used widely from kitchen fabrics such as aprons, kitchen crosses, and tablecloths to eco-bags, pouches, cushions, and clothing. |

Striped Onion is a design that reinterprets the shape of the familiar vegetable, the onion, into a simple graphic motif.
By incorporating organic vertical stripes flowing from top to bottom within the silhouette of a round, swollen onion , the layers and grain of a real onion are expressed simply yet impressively. By minimizing decorative details and focusing on the flow of form and lines, it creates a more modern and graphic impression compared to typical realistic vegetable illustrations.
The warm coral pink colorway creates a cheerful and lovely atmosphere, while the vivid blue and beige colorways evoke a calm yet sophisticated vibe. Both feature distinct color contrasts, making them ideal for use as accents on various lifestyle products as well as kitchen fabrics.
